Even though I was somewhat critical of the use of unnecessary fades at the end of ROTK, the montage while Pippin is singing is truly an editing masterpiece, and I stand by that. This category has been strange for the past couple years, because I’m starting to view it as an editor, not as a movie lover. Don’t worry; I’m not about to turn into a cinema purist…

You have a love for film and your love for the Academy Awards. I wouldn't stop freeing your opinion, as you have beautifully done for all these categories. I cannot wait to read more.
It also makes us more aware of what to choose for our own Oscar picks this year.
