  • Videos, but also a little bit of bad news...

Okay, first the bad news. It seems our oldest cat, Abbey (16 years old), is dying. She can’t really eat anymore except for gravy, and she has that distant look in her eyes. I’ll try to post a picture of her (from an earlier time, when she was healthy) in the next few days.

In other news, I finally posted some of my videos up on YouTube. The first is the AMV I made about two years ago. My friends all praised it as “better than Phil’s.” NOTE: If you don’t like slow love songs and/or Inuyasha, you may as well not bother watching.

The other video I have for you is the trailer to my college senior project. If you’re interested, I can try to upload the whole movie in installments. I warn you…don’t expect a monumental cinematic achievement here, but if you want a little fun, I can certainly oblige (Plus I also have bloopers to share once I get the whole movie online, and who doesn’t love bloopers?). NOTE: I blocked out my name and the names of my actors because I have this available to the public on YouTube, and you can't trust everyone on the Internet (though I'm pretty sure I can trust most of you guys, at least as far as this is concerned).

And yeah, I know the sound is a little weird, but I don't know how to fix that.

On an unrelated note, it seems that, by coincidence, Laura and I both applied for the same job at the museum. I got a rejection letter and she got an interview. But I guess that's how life goes.

  • You know that feeling you get when you touch a Van Graff generator (they’re those large globes that make your hair stand on end) or a cord/adapter that still has electricity in it? I’ve been feeling that all day. I have no idea why.

But, other than feeling like I’m being electrocuted all day, I actually learned some new content management stuff AND I found some more Phantom of the Opera and Wicked videos on YouTube.

Oh, apparently at 1:02 and 3 seconds tonight the time will be 01:02:03 04/05/06. Unfortunately, I’m way too tired to stay up for it (but hey, I could just ignore the military time thing and do it in the afternoon). I DID play witness to the palindrome time thing a couple years ago, so I’m not a total loss, but I can’t really explain it cuz now I don’t remember entirely how it worked.

  • It's the Amazing Fortune-Telling iPod!

Yeah, as you can tell, I’ve pretty much given up on posting my tournament predictions. It’s just too hard to keep up.

Anyways, I got this quiz-thing in a bulletin on MySpace, and I thought it was fun so I decided to post it here. Just so you know, I’m using my iPod for it and that doesn’t have all my songs on it so things may be a little lopsided. Also, I listen to a lot of stuff in other languages, so…
