    Time Travel

I always found the notion of time travel to be one of the more interesting subjects in physics. It’s a subject that continues to draw controversy. Several world-renowned physicists believe it is possible, but just as many believe it is just a myth. This website presents an optimistic view of time travel, as well as a detailed argument for why it is theoretically possible. The descriptions are actually pretty easy to read. They’re not weighed down in equations and scientific jargon, for the most part, and there are several introductory guides for those whose physics knowledge is a bit rusty.

I know I’m super late in getting this Website of the Week up, but I’ve been down with the flu since Tuesday (I got back from fencing, where I had scored two against Dave in sabre, and won against Cherie in both sabre and foil, and immediately I started getting sick). I missed all my classes on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday except Biochem, and that was only because I had a presentation, then lab, then a quiz. I only get the flu about every other year, but this just happened to be the year I’m supposed to get it, and I usually get one symptom that’s a hundred times worse than the others (which aren’t tame, by any means). This time it was body pain and achiness. On Wednesday, I was in so much pain that I kept slipping into some scenario about being a prisoner of war in medieval Japan (or something like that). I wasn’t delusional, because I knew it wasn’t real, and I wasn’t hallucinating, because it was just in my mind (kind of like a dream sequence), but I don’t know what it’s called. All I know is that I didn’t want to think of the scenario, but my mind kept going back there, and I couldn’t sleep. In any case, I certainly didn’t feel like posting here. However, I am all better now.

Right now, I’m home for Thanksgiving. I went to my grandma’s tonight for my aunt and uncle’s birthdays (once again, they were born in different years). I ended up watching Rush Hour with my cousin Nikki (who just turned 10). After I got home I called Laura and we had probably one of the most entertaining conversations of all time. We're going to go see The Cat in the Hat on Friday, and then we’re probably going to hang out at Laura’s house, listen to CDs, maybe watch some TV, and plan our dream vacation to Boise, Idaho in search of time machines

Lastly, I now have a DeviantArt site for all my artwork. Stop by sometime!

EDIT: Laura, you're the only one who (might) understand this, but that's intentional. I did some web surfing. Apparently, time machines are more popular than we thought and seeing one this year is basically out of the question. So don't cancel the Florida plans just yet...
